Application Procedure
Find out all the necessary steps and guidelines required to start the application process below:
At each step of the process, our Admissions Team will be there to guide you, answer any questions you may have, and ensure an efficient process.
Step 1: Document-Based Initial Assessment
Share your academic transcripts and certificates with our team. Our team will evaluate your documents and will inform you about your eligibility.
Step 2: Fee and Application Form
Once you have received confirmation of your eligibility, it’s time to move on to the next step – submitting the fee and application form. To initiate the process, make a payment of the application fee and/or the entrance procedure fee and submit the completed application form along with all the required documents to our admissions team.
Step 3: Scheduling of Exam
Congratulations on submitting your application! As the next step, the university will schedule an entrance exam and/or an entrance interview.
Step 4: Letter of Acceptance
Upon successfully qualifying for the entrance exam and/or the entrance interview, we will issue a Letter of Acceptance for you the very next day.
Deadlines
September 2024/2025 Intake:
- PhD programs: 15th May
- Non-medical programs: 15th June
January/February 2023/2024 Intake:
- Medical programs (only Basic Medicine Course II): 1st November
- Other non-medical programs, PhD program: 15th November
Required Documents
Bachelor’s
- Correctly filled in the application form
- Certificate of education (school leaving certificate, high school diploma, document of graduation or any equivalent; university or college diploma/certificate or any equivalent; all in English (translated)
- Certificate or proof of citizenship and/or permanent residence (e.g. passport)
- Short Resume/CV (personal details, educational background, work experience, language skills, additional skills)
- Medical Certificate
- Bank receipt about the transfer of the application fee of 150 USD (non-refundable) and entrance procedure fee 350 USD.
Master’s
- An updated detailed CV
- Bachelor's degree
- Certificate or proof of citizenship and/or permanent residence (e.g. passport)
- Detailed transcript
- Descriptions of courses taken during undergraduate studies (in case of credit transfer)
PhD
- An updated detailed CV
- Master's Degree
- Detailed transcript of courses taken during graduate studies
- 2 recommendation letters from former professors
- Proposal for a research topic chosen from those offered by the doctoral school, or a new topic with a detailed description
Special Requirements
- Citizens, nationals, or permanent residents of the United States of America, applying for the Medicine program at the University are required to submit their Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) results
- In the case of applicants applying to any of the non-medical programs, whose first language is not English, proof of English language proficiency* is required
Having an IELTS/TOEFL language certificate is not a compulsory requirement. The applicant can prove his/her English proficiency in other ways, such as by other language certificates, good GED, SAT, ACT results. If the language of instruction during your studies for your previous degree was English, you may upload an official certificate about this fact, issued by your school/university; in this case no language exam is required. We can also conduct a Skype interview during your application to assess your English communication skills.
